Kids Alive International
Audrey Willett
Stone Creek Fellowship strongly believes in reaching out to spread the good news about Jesus Christ and salvation. This commission extends beyond our local community to the entire world. One of the ways we support this commitment is to support missionary efforts in other countries. One of the missionary programs we support is Kids Alive International.
For 100 years, Kids Alive has rescued orphans and other vulnerable and forgotten children in 12 countries around the world. Through the blessing of child sponsorship, these kids receive loving, holistic care and a quality education, helping break the bondage of hunger, abuse, and exploitation. Best of all, they have the opportunity to know and trust Jesus Christ and follow Him.
Audrey Willett is from Texas and just graduated with a Bachelors in Human Development and Family Science from the University of Texas in Austin. In 2018 she served with Kids Alive as a summer intern in the Dominican Republic. It was through her internship that Audrey fell in love with the mission of Kids Alive and knew God was calling her to serve at-risk kids as a full time missionary.
As a service team host, Audrey will lead different teams in Jarabacoa through discipleship, mentoring, and hosting. Over the past five years, she has been on multiple short-term mission trips all over Central America, including Guatemala, and Honduras. Through these trips she developed a passion for leading and illustrating God’s heart for the nations. Her desire is to disciple teams and mobilize them to go and reach others. She has always loved serving children and believes that through loving and teaching kids the Word of the Lord, they can impact generations.
Audrey has always been inspired by the story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37) who was willing to tear down social and ethnic walls in order to help others in need. She hopes that you will partner with her in the work God is doing in the Dominican Republic.
